NEW VEHICLE WARRANTIES

BUMPER-TO-BUMPER LIMITED WARRANTY

Subject to your non-excludable statutory rights and the exclusions shown, this Cadillac Warranty covers the correction of any manufacturing defect to materials or Cadillac workmanship and advised to Cadillac, Authorised Service Outlet, or an appropriately qualified repairer by repair or at Cadillac’s option by replacement.

The coverage under this Cadillac Warranty commences from the date of first registration. In the case of a demonstrator vehicle, the warranty period starts from the date the vehicle was first placed into service by the Dealer (except in Western Australia where the warranty commencement date begins from the purchase date of the vehicle).

This coverage expires at the end of the period of 5 Years, regardless of distance travelled (or, if the vehicle has been used for commercial application^, the warranty coverage expires at the end of 5 Years or once the vehicle has travelled 200,000 km, whichever comes first)

^ Commercial Application means that the vehicle has at any time been used or is currently used for a commercial purpose, and such uses include without limitation; taxi services, hire or rental vehicle services, courier services, and vehicles transporting people or goods for payment (including on a part-time or casual basis, and rideshare such as Uber or Didi). The warranty coverage for vehicles used for a commercial application expires at the end of 5 Years or once the vehicle has travelled 200,000 km, whichever comes first.

CADILLAC WARRANTY AND YOUR RIGHTS UNDER AUSTRALIAN OR NEW ZEALAND CONSUMER LAW

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

EV PROPULSION WARRANTY

In addition to the Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage, Cadillac will warrant defects related to materials or workmanship to the Electric Vehicle Propulsion battery pack for 8 Years or 160,000 KMs, whichever comes first, from the original in-service date of the vehicle.

Like all batteries, the amount of energy that the high voltage propulsion battery can store will decrease with time and distance driven. The battery will either be replaced or repaired if the capacity falls below 75% of its original value during the warranty period, as determined by Cadillac, with a battery appropriate for the age of the vehicle and the distance it has travelled.
