Your Cadillac Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
(1) Collision, fire, theft, vandalism, or moving objects striking the vehicle (including inside the vehicle)
(2) Misuse or abuse of the vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing, or other competition. Proper vehicle use is discussed in the Owner’s Manual.
(3) Operation of the vehicle after the defect is known.
(4) Failure to carry out scheduled maintenance services and the use of incorrect types and grades of lubricants.
(5) Alteration, modification, or tampering to the vehicle, including, but not limited to the body, chassis, driveline, software, or other components after final assembly by General Motors.
(6) Coverages do not apply if the odometer has had its reading altered, or distance cannot be determined.
(7) Fitting of parts or accessories not recommended by Cadillac.
(8) Water (including high-pressure and steam) or fluid contamination.
(9) Damage results from atmospheric fallout, hail, floods, windstorms, lightning, salt, and other environmental conditions
(10) Alteration of glass parts by application on tinting films
(11) Any work carried out on the vehicle:
a. by anyone who is not qualified;
b. That does not align with the Cadillac’s specifications and instructions; or
c. That does not use appropriate, and quality parts where required.
Important: This warranty is void on vehicles currently or previously titled as salvaged, scrapped, written-off or otherwise considered a total loss.
